Risky Love

God has been teaching me about love. He has been teaching me through my relationship with Him and others. He has used my sister, friends, and selfishness to show me. My mom said the best quote today: "There is a love that you can't help. You can't not love em' even if you wanted to." She's right. I am glad God has that love for me and truly I have that love for Him that he has given me. As far as humans go he has been showing me this kind of love as well. Me and ash talk about this all the time..that we love each other no matter what. Today it hit me. That unselfish love. The kind of love that wants someone else to be happy above yourself. That would gladly take their pain so they don't have to endure it. That wants someone to be happy even if that doesn't include your feelings into the equation. I believe this love is straight from Jesus. it is IMPOSSIBLE to love in this way without him..but when you do..or get the blessing of being loved that way by someone else..You get glimpse of the Father. Of that risky love that gives all and asks nothing, that sacrafices and aches, that counts the cost and decides it's worth it. Thank you Jesus for that amazing Love and for placing it inside of us..may it invade and take over our lives.
