So this morning, I woke up as usual: took a shower, put on a cute summer shirt and let my hair be natural because I could not bear the thought of turning on anything that exuberates heat!! The AC in anderson is still off and we are going on the third day in a row that the temps are in the upper 80's! Honestly, it's making me really thankful for air conditioning and empathetic to those who don't have the same luxury... So after getting ready I headed off to cell biology on the normal Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule but of course this week yesterday was a "Monday" schedule so I had the same class 2 days in a row. Anyhow, I walk out and the madness began. I passed a couple of people who say "Hey Jordan.." and half asleep I respond not noticing anything out of the ordinary. Well..I get to class and get some nods/smiles..and I'm thinking okay. Normally, I am invisible. Then after class I proceed to walk back to the dorm when I am greeted by everyone who passes me..I bet I go 5 more "Hey Jordan's.." "How's it going Jordan?" I felt like one of the dorks in the movies who finally gets noticed because her friends did a makeover HAHAH. Anyway, today I feel like I look the exact way I do everyday but I am being greeted by the entire campus. It's so un-ordinary!
